Property Renovations and Maintenance

Many of our customers who have bought property from Bulgarian Village Homes have been so pleased with our service that they ask us to arrange their renovations. However, we ONLY advise clients and have no responsibility for their decision. We are a Real Estate agency, not a building company and have no financial interest in any building works undertaken.

However, we will act as a third party on your behalf. We know all the 'meister' local tradesmen and will negotiate with them to get you the best possible price for your works. Then we'll agree a legal contract on your behalf so that all parties know what they are entitled to. Before commencing any work we will agree suitable dates for you and the building firm, allocate a schedule of payments tied to milestones being achieved i.e. clearing the site, laying foundations, brickwork etc and ensure that the builders turn up and complete the work to your specification.

Take a look at these BEFORE, DURING & AFTER photos of a COMPLETE renovation some builders carried out for a client. Apart from leveling the house this was almost an entire rebuild. As you can see from the photos we put in a damp proof course, external insulation, internal plaster boarding, external plastering, new concrete floors, totally rewired, new roof, guttering and large porch extension, new UPVC double glazed doors & windows, central heating, new septic tank, and a lovely fireplace. We even knocked down the garage!
